Philadelphia Academies, Inc.

Raynard W. Hughes
I presently represent our chapter on
the National Scholarship and Youth Symposium
Committees. I've been a member of COMTO
for six years, and during that time I've
actively supported the events and undertakings
of this chapter. I have worked at SEPTA
for 25 years and I'm currently a Project
Manager for the Engineering, Maintenance
and Construction Division.

Crystal R. Griggs- Assistant Director
of Stations in Rail Transportation. Employed
with SEPTA for 23 years. Served as 2nd Vice
President for 2 terms. Served as the Scholarship
awards event chair for 4 years. Served as
Marketing and Communications Committee Chair.

Assistant Director for Stations in Rail
Transportation. Employed by SEPTA for 25
years. Served as Editor and Chief for COMTO-Philadelphia
chapter Newsletter. Presently, completing
2nd term as Treasurer for the Chapter.

Assistant Treasurer
Yolanda Romero
I have been the Director of Workers’
Compensation for SEPTA for 10 years and
have 25 years of experience in the Workers’
Compensation field. I have been a member
of COMTO for approximately 10 years and
have served as Treasurer for 5-1/2 years
and Assistant Treasurer for the past 1-1/2
years. Since 2004 to date I chair the Scholarship
Selection. I also served on the Scholarship
Luncheon committee, Golf Outing committee,
Thanksgiving Basket committee, National/Local
Membership committee, Black History Month
committee and COMTO Executive Committee.

Jeri L.Morton
Employed in the transportation industry
for 33 years: Conrail for 10 years and SEPTA
for 25 years. Current position and department
with SEPTA; Bus Transportation, Operations
Administrator at 1234 Market Street. Previous
SEPTA divisions include, Regional Rail and
Business Services. COMTO member for 10 years.
Involvement with COMTO includes: Secretary,
Scholarship Luncheon Committee, Marketing
and Communication Committee, and acting
Financial Secretary.

Financial Secretary
Agnes V. Daniels
Programmer Analyst, in the Real Estate Department
under the Public & Operational Safety
Division with SEPTA. I’ve been employed
by SEPTA since 1988. As a friend of COMTO
I became acquainted with its mission, and
I been an active member since 2003. I was
appointed chapter secretary and served in
that capacity for one and a half years.
I now serve as Financial Secretary for the
Philadelphia Area Chapter.
